Responsibilities*

  • Provide grant administration support to faculty and labs within the center grant. Financial planning, budgeting, prepare reports, procurement involvement, project management, protocols, process MTA's, HR work, facilities, IACUC protocols, complete surveys, annual progress report submission.
  • T32 grant support for Cardiovascular training grant, including Post Award activities.
  • Process external invoices and internal recharge activity of the Animal Phenotyping core, reconcile various accounts associated with core.
  • Assist with various departmental requests, seminars and events as needed.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 - 3 years of grant and contract experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year or more of direct research experience in pre/post award
  • Experience with managing training grants
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles

Desired Qualifications*

  • Working knowledge of the University's internal recharge process
  • Experience from an Academic Institution

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
