SE Academic AffairsJob Summary
Provides process and informational support to district-wide Technical & Transfer Education programs and services for the CATE Center. Verifies training being provided, checking terms of delivery, and compliance with THECB courses. Coordinates with Academic Support Services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements*
- Assists in the planning, administering, managing and evaluation of the education and workforce programs
- Evaluates program development for compliance with The Coordinating Board.
- Plans and conducts campus, district, and community outreach and promotional activities
- Provide district support for the Colleague Student system.
- Provide district reporting of courses offered.
- Provide direct support for faculty and staff during times that facility is solely for TCC use.
- Researches, investigates, collaborates, plans, and participates in various student success initiatives
- Coordinates development and provision of specialized course delivery for Career and Technical Courses with all five college campuses.
- Assists in supervising the operational aspects of courses conducted on the campus
- Serves on various department, campus, ISD, and district committees
- Duties will include evenings and weekend hours
Service Excellence
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
- Supports the mission, values and 3 goals and 8 principles of the College
Supervision
Works under periodic supervision of department leadership

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree and two (2) years of administrative and managerial experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a comprehensive community college setting
- Experience in Dual Credit course delivery
- Good Communication Skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skills in working effectively in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Successful experience managing a high volume workflow office in an educational setting
- Knowledge of needs assessment, marketing, evaluation methods, technology and curriculum development
- Experience with computerized systems, specifically with data systems.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
