The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Culinary Service Associate for Holy Cross College. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
The Culinary Service Associate reports to the dining hall manager, supporting the mission and goals of a “Best in Class” dining program. As a culinary production member of a dynamic dining hall operation, the associate will support the daily operations of the dining hall. He/she will complete general assignments related to the service and clean-up of food production through standards of service/hospitality, insuring The Holy Cross Community and guests with the very best in food and service. This “back-of-house” position is critical to insuring all diners experience excellent food production and service and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of customers. The culinary service associate will prepare work areas for service, set up and clean equipment and facilities; participates in general assignments, such as ware washing, preparation and delivery of food, trash removal; and is responsible for performing tasks related to the appearance, safety and sanitation of food service facilities.

This position is with University Enterprises and Events at the University of Notre Dame and is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid after 90 and 180 days of continuous employment). Candidates are only eligible if they are a new employee to the University – current Notre Dame employees who transfer are not eligible. Other rules and conditions apply.
