Job Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Agronomy seeks to hire a postdoctoral researcher to conduct field and laboratory measurements to understand the climate implications of novel bioenergy cropping systems.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in soil science or a closely related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience measuring soil greenhouse gas emissions in agroecosystems
- Experience with deploying and troubleshooting field sensors and sampling devices
- Experience with measuring and interpreting stable isotope data
- Peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals
- Experience communicating research findings to a general scientific audience
