Summary

Develop an in-house web-based software system to store student outcome data and develop scripts or programs for data analysis.

Responsibilities*

• Develop an in-house web-based software system for CIT faculty to enter course outcome data to be stored in a database or a spreadsheet
• Develop scripts or programs for data analysis, including basic charting, statistical analysis, etc.; take given data and run it through data analysis and statistical tests
• Meet 1-2 times per week with faculty advisor and present progress updates and receive direction
• Give periodic updates and/or a final report of results to the project originator also may be required

Required Qualifications*

• Must be a current University of Michigan-Flint undergraduate student in good academic standing or recently graduated from a UM-Flint undergraduate program and not currently enrolled in a graduate program
• Must have successfully completed CSC 175 and CSC 275 or CSC 276

Desired Qualifications*

• Successful completion of CSC 375 and/or CSC 379
• Successful completion of a software engineering courses, i.e., CSC 382 or CIS 250
