This position is responsible for providing support functions for advising and admissions. The responsibility of this position is the delivery of exceptional service to prospects and current students by making appointments for students in both departments, assisting with intake information, providing login and student id information, room scheduling, and assisting with orientation, placement test scheduling, and the creation of placement test vouchers. The Specialist handles incoming calls, call distribution, and daily transcript processing, and assists with retention tracking.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree is recommended. One to two years of related experience is preferred. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new database systems. The ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality are required.

 

SALARY

Salary range begins at no less than $15.00 per hour.
