Full Job Description

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is looking for a fundraising coordinator to join the ASRT Foundation. This position will be responsible for fundraising and donor stewardship and the focus will be on planning, leading, evaluating, and improving revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee individual fundraising campaigns of the ASRT Foundation including identifying special events and other activities to meet fundraising goals. Create measurable goals and evaluate outcomes to determine success.
  • Identify, recruit and retain donors by communicating regularly with current and prospective contributors; develop and implement a process to increase donor giving frequency and gift level.Produce and distribute donor newsletters and donor-related communications.
  • Manage assessment of donor/prospect information and prepare reports based on database information. Improve and enhance the Foundation’s technical ability to cultivate and solicit donors, ensuring better integration with ASRT’s association management software.
  • Ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in activities; analyze performance to ensure continuous improvement. Develop and implement new strategies, policies, procedures and metrics based on Foundation best practices to improve performance and donor relations.
  • Manage and plan Foundation activities at two conferences per year.
  • Provide campaign goals, targeting data and donor strategies to the public relations, marketing and graphic design teams for the development, deployment, and promotion of fundraising initiatives through a variety of communication vehicles including website, publications, direct mail, social media and in-person meetings.

Successful Candidates Meet the Following Criteria:

  • Associate degree up to a master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, business, or related field.
  • Exceptional fundraising experience including annual, major, planned and special gift programs.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to upgrade donor giving levels.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level using Microsoft Office, Excel, Customer Relation Management software, Click-Dimensions or other mass marketing communications software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including exceptional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to cultivate and manage donor relationships with a high degree of discretion and tact.
  • Solid organizational, prioritization, project management and analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with several departments and diverse personalities and work independently when necessary.
  • Demonstrated skills in data report management.
  • Relocation to Albuquerque, New Mexico preferred.
