Job Description

The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology has one or more postdoctoral research associates (or more senior research positions) to work in the McBride Lab. The McBride Lab is looking for research associates to work on the genetic and neural basis of behaviors that adapt mosquitoes to human hosts. Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. in biology or a related field with experience in some combination of molecular genetics, evolutionary genomics, field work, neural imaging, and/or behavioral quantification. Excellent written English, a track record of publication in peer-reviewed literature, as well as creativity, energy, and desire to work in an interactive lab setting are also important. This one-year appointment may be renewed based on satisfactory performance and funding availability. Research staff are entitled to University benefits.
