Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Staff Assistant for the Child Health Program within the Francois-Xavier Bagnoud Center for the Rutgers School of Nursing. The Staff Assistant will perform a wide variety of administrative support services within the Child Health Unit (CHU) in the Child Protection and Permanency (CP&P) Union Central local office. Under the direction the the Regional Nurse Administrator, the Staff Assistant is the central point of coordination for operations within the CHU and will also support nursing staff in the clinical activities of the unit. Among the key duties for this position are the following: * Provides administrative, analytical, computing, and staff support for the CHU. * Receives and appropriately handles incoming correspondence, makes appointments, schedules meetings, and responds to inquires. * Maintains essential records and assists in the maintenance of all service activity files. * Prepares and/or compiles data for special reports and analyses, monthly reports, program evaluations, and other related reports within prescribed guidelines. * Coordinates and maintains the CHU calendar. * Serves as a key communication link between the CHU, the Regional Nurse Administrator (RNA), and other administrative units such as Information Services and Technology. |

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same. Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals , if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
