Summary

Information and Technology Services (ITS) is looking for an ERP Business Systems Analyst Senior to join the Student Administration Team within ITS.

As a member of the ITS team, you will be a functional expert supporting the M-Pathways Student Administration System (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions), for processes related to Recruiting and Admissions. Responsibilities include customer communications, requirements gathering, system analysis, design, documentation and testing, investigating and resolving system issues, and providing outstanding customer support. You will work in partnership with business teams in the university's admissions offices, and other departments across campus. You will report to the ERP Business Analyst Lead on the Student Administration team.

Responsibilities*

  • Be a functional expert for M-Pathways Student Administration System (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions) ongoing use and maintenance.
  • Work with a collaborative team to provide daily operations and support for admissions systems
  • Evaluate system and process problems; determine priority of response and follow-up for customer requests
  • Work with customers to gather requirements for changes to business processes and information systems
  • Analyze business and user needs; Document functional requirements; Identify dependencies and integration needs
  • Develop and document designs for new applications and existing applications; identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements
  • Execute test plans to support infrastructure, software upgrades and releases
  • Use SQL-based query tools for analysis and customer support
  • Lead projects and delegate tasks
  • Participate in strategic planning and setting of technical direction for the department
  • Make independent decisions that impact operations

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a related role
  • Experience working with enterprise student information systems related to recruiting and admissions
  • Demonstrated skills for the job Responsibilities listed above

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience working with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
  • Experience working with a range of admissions systems and integrations (for example, Technolutions Slate, CollegeNET ApplyWeb)
