| Position Highlights | We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join the Walti lab at the University of Arizona in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Our lab is interested in studying the interaction of chaperones with amyloids causing neurodegenerative disorders with a focus on Hsp60 and Alzheimer’s disease. We mainly employ solution-state NMR but also a wide range of other biophysical methods, such as cryo-EM, EPR spectroscopy or fluorescence measurements. We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, and creative researcher to supervise and bring own ideas to existing tasks and start new projects. Candidates from a broad background are welcome to apply, however previous experience in either solution-state NMR or cryo-electron microscopy is a must.
