Job Description

Our mission is to unlock the grace of giving in advancing Notre Dame’s mission. We value trust, transparency, teamwork, driving change, feedback, and fun. If you are ready to embrace each day, knowing that your work advances the new fundraising initiative For Good and catalyzes Notre Dame’s lasting impact in the world, then this is the role for you! The University of Notre Dame, University Relations division, is seeking a Program Director to oversee all aspects of the priority collateral content management system including design and curation of priority content, and to become a critical member of the highly motivated, mission-driven For Good campaign administration team.

Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Development, the incumbent will play a key role in the For Good Initiative, executing several critical engagement activities and programs within the For Good Administration office for the University’s comprehensive fundraising campaign. The successful candidate will design, pilot, implement, train and curate the digital platform for priority content management; work closely with key areas of the University to strategically share the impact of For Good priorities; develop insights from platform usage to further refine the tool and guide leadership in decision making around philanthropic opportunities; and help maintain the For Good branding throughout the For Good Initiative. The Program Director must have a deep understanding of the For Good Initiative and a passion for the continued success of the University. Developing and maintaining trusted partnerships with University leaders, departmental partners, and other business units across campus will be crucial to long term success in this role.

What are the goals of this role?
  • Serve as the digital content management platform owner for University Relations, responsible for the design, implementation, content curation, and evaluation of the platform. Also act as the point of contact for the University that will work directly with the vendor after implementation.

  • Lead engagement efforts and facilitate conversations with key stakeholders across Development and the University about the sharing of For Good priorities. Collaborate with academic and non-academic units to develop and disseminate engaging content around For Good priorities to be both placed in the digital platform and shared broadly.

  • Continually promote and educate the Development fundraising team on use of the digital platform content and For Good priorities in general.
