Clinical Medical Assistant InstructorPosition Description
Lincoln Land Community College is seeking qualified, part-time instructors to teach for the Clinical Medical Assistant program at various locations within the Lincoln Land Community College district (Jacksonville, Litchfield, Springfield, Taylorville).
The position will include classroom and hands-on laboratory teaching. Duties will include:
- Preparing lessons and course syllabi
- Evaluating and assisting students
- Keeping accurate records of student performance, including following grading procedures
- Providing students with timely feedback
- Creating a learning environment that fosters student success and active learning
- Utilizing instructional technology in support of the teaching/learning process
- Developing, integrating, evaluating and reviewing student learning outcomes.
Position Requirements
Eligible candidates must be an experienced CMA (3 years or more) or LPN, RN, or above
Instructor’s pay will range $25-$35 per hour depending on their profession in the field.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
