Accounting Instructor
Job Description
Northwest Mississippi Community College is seeking an Accounting Instructor. The Instructor’s primary responsibility will be teaching courses involving principles of Accounting. The position is a full-time 9-month salaried position reporting to the Director of Business Instruction.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree or higher in Accounting or an M.B.A with 18 graduate-level hours in Accounting.
Location: This position will have classes assigned in Senatobia on our Main Campus. Class locations could also include Southaven at our DeSoto Campus, and/or our ELearning Department which would include online classes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Primary responsibilities include teaching principles of accounting.
- Maintain record of student attendance as required by the Mississippi Community College Board.
- Prepare, administer and grade periodic tests, assignments and /or program assessment data.
- Other duties as assigned.
