The RPL develops novel PET and theranostic agents for the evaluation of cancer and response to therapy. The lab focuses on small molecule targeting including biologics and a range of short and long half life radioisotopes. The lab includes “hot lab space” where radiopharmaceuticals can be evaluated in a safe environment, a microPET/CT and microSPECT/CT animal scanners and an array of analytic devices. The lab has access to a unique animal facility that allows animals to be scanned repeatedly. The lab is complemented by the Chemical Synthesis Center where dedicated radiochemists produce customized agents for testing.
We are seeking a scientist who has documented experience in designing and testing radiopharmaceuticals in the pre-clinical setting. Familiarity with common analytic methods including cell-free and cell binding assays, blocking studies, biodistribution studies and interpretation of small animal imaging is mandatory.
