Job Summary
The Neuroaudiology Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas (PI: Kelly N. Jahn) is seeking to fill a 3-year postdoctoral associate position. The postdoctoral associate will work on a funded project that assesses neural biomarkers of auditory perception in autism spectrum disorder. They will also spend time developing independent research programs that are aligned with the scientific goals of the lab, mentoring junior lab members, applying for independent funding, and presenting at scientific meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience

Ph.D in a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience
Ph.D. in a related field
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong coding/programming skills (MATLAB, R, and/or Python)
  • Experience working with human participants or patients
  • Evidence of scholarship and leadership activities commensurate with career stage (e.g., first-author publications, mentoring experience, leadership roles in professional organizations)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Behavioral and electrophysiological testing, data analysis, writing, publications, presentations, mentoring junior lab members.
