Kids’ College is a summer enrichment program for elementary age children on the Midland College campus. The runner position will assist with various tasks associated with the administration of Kids’ College.
Required Qualifications
Must be 14 years of age by March 31, 2023
• Proof of age is required at the interview
Must be able to work both sessions (Session 1: June 5 to June 8th and June 12th to June 15; Session 2: June 19 to June 22nd and June 26th to June 29th)
Must be available each day from 12:15 pm to 5:30 pm

Essential Functions
Assist Kids’ College staff with elementary-age students while they are on the Midland College campus.
Assist with carpool
Supervise children walking to and from class
Give directions and answer questions
Pick up ice at Chap Center
Pick up and prepare drinks and snacks for the snack break
Set up, serve, and clean up refreshments
Run errands for teachers and coordinators
Pass out t-shirts
Deliver supplies
Prepare and deliver water to outside sports
Keep litter picked up and teach students to do the same
Fill water balloons every morning
Lift and carry boxes up to 20 pounds
Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
Frequently moves boxes, or coolers of water and ice weighing up to 35 pounds
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

The person in this position needs to frequently move from office to various locations on campus
Duties indoors and some outdoors; in inclement weather, work in the rain may be necessary
