Successfully design and instruct Kids’ College courses.

Must have finished at least one year of college
Ability to instruct, develop and follow daily lesson plans for Kids’ College courses

Must be able to show proficiency in area of instruction/expertise
Instructional experience with elementary-aged children

Instruct elementary-age children in a classroom or outdoor setting
Create lesson plans
Maintain control of purchased supplies for class
Communicate with the Kids’ College office regarding room needs, media, and copy
Supervise runner(s) in classroom needs, supplies, and student absences
Complete supply inventory upon completion of the course
Maintain appropriate discipline in the classroom
Follow appropriate procedures to maintain the safety of Kids’ College students
Follow appropriate procedures for substitute instructors
Other duties as assigned

Frequently moves boxes or coolers of water and ice weighing up to 35 pounds
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Use of manual dexterity
The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
The person in this position needs to frequently move from office to various locations on campus
Duties indoors and some outdoors; in inclement weather, work in the rain may be necessary
