What we want
The selected candidate will conduct experiments and numerical simulations applied in clean energy systems, dynamic modeling, analyzing and interpreting data, prepare manuscripts for publication of the results, along with working with graduate and undergraduate researchers on ongoing research projects. What you need to know

Required Education and Experience:
Appropriate PhD
Relevant professional experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Background and expertise in computational fluid dynamics
Programming skills with MATLAB
Background and expertise in experimental methods with application to energy systems
Experience in leading the preparation of scientific publications
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, ocean engineering, or a closely related discipline
Background and expertise in computational fluid dynamics
Programming skills with MATLAB
Background and expertise in experimental methods with application to energy systems
Experience in leading the preparation of scientific publications
Prior research experience in the numerical investigation of flow and heat transfer in miniature heat sinks
Prior research experience in experimental investigation of two-phase flow and heat transfer
Familiarity with numerical simulation of turbulent forced convection of liquid metals
Responsibilities
Modeling and Simulation Dynamic modeling using ThermoLib; analyzing and interpreting the data. Working with graduate and undergraduate researchers on ongoing research projects.
Validation Study - Validate the results of the dynamic modeling.
Publications and Other Duties - Preparing manuscripts for publication and research results; Support in the preparation of research results. Performs other duties as assigned.
