Online Instructor

Job Responsibilities
An opportunity to join the Philosophy Department of a premier community college.
Primary responsibility will be to teach online in alignment with objectives and outcomes for the department.

Education
Master’s Degree in Philosophy

OR

Master’s Degree in another field and at least 20 graduate credit hours in teaching discipline required

OR

30 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline as a part of a program leading to a degree higher than a master’s degree

Preliminary Qualifications
Two years teaching experience in philosophy, ethics, or logic.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. desired.

Work Hours General
Macomb Community College offers daytime, evening, and Saturday classes. Please indicate in your cover letter your hours of availability.
