Assist customers of the testing center. Work may be performed in the Library or Scharbauer Student Center. Weekend and evening availability is needed.
Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes
Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office
Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of general office equipment, including copier, fax machine, and multi-line telephone
Basic computer skills, including data entry experience

Essential Functions
Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately;
Office and clerical tasks;
Sort Incoming mail;
Data entry;
Make copies;
Filing;
Answer telephones;
Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries to the correct department or resources;
Maintain confidentiality of documents and information;
Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Work is mostly performed indoors; some outdoor Midland College or community events may be required
The person in this position needs to occasionally move/travel from the office to other locations on campus
The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information
