Planning, Design and Construction Student Assistant (Summer Employment)Job Description
We are looking for detail-oriented and dependable individuals to join our staff for temporary summer employment supporting Planning, Design and Construction project management teams. Duties may include the following activities:
-Technical data entry and compilation of reports.
-Building inspections and field measurements to confirm existing building conditions.
-Assist with minor adjustments to drawings using AutoCAD.
-Photograph, download, and index digital files of “in-progress” construction projects.
-Assist with construction project review.
-Assist with construction close-out paperwork.
-General errands and deliveries of documents to campus.
All work is required to take place in the Planning, Design and Construction campus office.
Minimum Qualifications
Reliability and consistency are essential. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft and Google Office products.
Preferred Qualifications
Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduate architecture student preferred. Basic drafting skills to assist with in-house documentation. AutoCAD experience preferred.
