Job Summary | The Quantum Transport Group (PI: Xiaoyan Shi) at UT Dallas invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position. We seek an innovative scholar with a PhD in experimental condensed matter physics, materials science, or related field. Position will focus on high temperature superconductor growth and characterization. Technical work, such as equipment maintenance and repair, as well as managing laboratory and personnel safety operations, should be expected. The postdoc will have ample opportunity to apply for independent funding, travel to scientific conferences, and network with other academics. The postdoc also be responsible for technical publication and proposal writing, networking with collaborators. Experience with operation and maintenance of cryogenic systems, thin film deposition systems, and electron transport measurement setup is essential. Experience in preparation and submission of publications and presentation of original research at professional conferences is preferred. |
