Job Summary

This is a work study position under the Film Production Technician degree. The hired person will work under the equipment room manager, organizing and maintaining film production equipment.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include: check-in and check-out of equipment to film students, maintaining, cleaning and basic repairs of equipment, scheduling and reservations of equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic working knowledge of cameras and grip equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Word and Excel.

Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Work-study is awarded to SLCC students through the Federal College Work-Study program, which requires establishing financial need through the FAFSA application from the Financial Aid Office. If you do not have work-study awarded to you, you will not be eligible for work under work-study positions.
