The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Room Attendantwithin the department of the Morris Inn. The UEE division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
The Room Attendant provides housekeeping support by cleaning and vacuuming guest rooms, cleaning restrooms, replacing light bulbs, stripping and making beds, linen removal and sorting, and cart replenishment within allotted time frames and to quality levels, while meeting or exceeding Morris Inn Signature Service Standards and expectations. In addition, this position is responsible for cleaning common areas outside of guest rooms and performing other duties, as assigned such as, displaying a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when greeting and providing assistance to guests of the hotel and Conference Center.

This position is with University Enterprises and Events at the University of Notre Dame and is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus (1/2 paid after 90 and 180 days of continuous employment). Candidates are only eligible if they are a new employee to the University – current Notre Dame employees who transfer are not eligible. Other rules and conditions apply.
Minimum Qualifications
- Attention to detail, time-first attitude, people oriented demeanor
- Work is performed in a normal hotel/restaurant environment with occasional stressful periods, and includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and special event periods.
- Little or no dangers or hazards are involved when correct procedures are followed.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred, but not required.
