This is a paralegal position for one of the departments for University. The best qualified candidate will be a certified paralegal, with at least .The position will be mostly on site at UNC, but possibility of 1 or 2 remote workdays per week once training is completed. Free parking is provided on site. Great supportive team of fellow paralegals and attorneys with excellent opportunity to learn new systems and work on interesting and challenging matters.
The paralegal will work with team of paralegals and attorneys supporting litigation and eDiscovery matters on behalf of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This will include reviewing documents, preparing motions and other pleadings, reviewing and summarizing depositions, responding to requests for research using Westlaw, Pacer, various state and federal court websites, and a variety of public records available online.

Minimum Experience/Education
High school diploma or equivalency & 2-4 years of experience in litigation support and eDiscovery work and paralegal experience.
Department Required Skills
The position requires:
Strong written skills;
Knowledge of proper legal citation format;
Intermediate to expert knowledge of all Microsoft Suite programs and Westlaw;
Prior experience in supporting litigation and review of documents as part of discovery requests;
