Position Overview:

Jewish National Fund seeks an Israel Programs Admissions Director to cover the Southwest Region (Arizona, Texas, Nevada and surrounding areas). This is position can be based out of our Phoenix, Dallas or Austin office and will travel regularly throughout the region.


The Jewish National Fund Israel Advocacy and Education Department connects students from preschool through college to the land of Israel its people. Jewish National Fund's Alexander Muss High School in Israel delivers a transformative experience for teens through its semester, mini-mester and summer abroad programs in Israel.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Deliver regional engagement across the Southwest (Arizona, Texas, Nevada and surrounding areas) region by managing 200 – 300 VIS accounts including (note, this list is not exhaustive):
  • Rabbis and synagogue professionals
  • Campus professionals
  • Educators
  • Muss alumni and their parents
  • Collaborate with the IAE Executive Director to develop quarterly tactics to balance between the immediate and future quarter needs of local markets, target accounts and program goals.
  • Implement touch points focused on accelerating key accounts/programs through the engagement cycle. This includes online and in-person tactics focused on locations and program (community, high school, or college campus).
  • Work closely with JNF-USA partners on college campuses (e.g. SSI, Yavneh, AMHSI alumni) to recruit for programs and initiatives including Caravan For Democracy, Campus Fellows, Alternative Winter Break, Positively Israel, and Tu Bishvat.
  • Work closely with the regional fundraising team and their partners in the development and execution of joint target accounts/partners when it makes sense.
  • Develop and nurture education focused lay leaders in each one of the regions covered (including education chairs, Muss chairs, campus chairs).
  • Introduce and test new styles of localized program-based strategies.
  • Report on quarterly results of specific tactics, quarterly business plan, and the breadth of the activity in the region
  • Grow AMHSI pipeline in region.
  • Grow Rabbis for Israel in region as well as our Congregational Missions to Israel program.
  • Grow campus pipeline by establishing relationships with ICC, Hillel, Yavneh, Heroes to Heroes, Students Supporting Israel and Jewish and non-Jewish campus organizations/clubs.
  • Any further duties assigned from your supervisor, which may not be listed above.


You have:

  • Knowledge of Israel and current trends in the Jewish community
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Zoom, internet research, and the ability to setup and use technology for presentation
  • Travel throughout the region will be required on a day to day basis (once travel resumes).
  • Some nights and weekend work are required.
  • Excellent follow-through on projects, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals as well as groups, must be a team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Must have excellent oral and written skills.
  • Candidates must have a valid US driver's license, access to a car and personal credit card to use for travel (documented expenses are reimbursed per company policy).

Salary range will vary depending on experience level and can fall within the range of approximately $65,000-80,000.
