Post Doctoral Researcher to pursue education and experience in research in the Department of Animal Sciences; to performs feedlot nutrition and management (applied and basic) research; identifies and selects problems to be studied in agreement with Principal Investigator; plans and performs complex experiments and procedures; coordinates, collects, and analyzes data; prepares research results for publication in reports, papers, journal, presentations, conference and other media; prepare seminars, talks, and lectures; get involved in supervise assigned students; assists with laboratory techniques and operates laboratory equipment; performs basic lab maintenance duties; and other duties as assigned. Position located in Wooster, Ohio. This is a one-year term position with the possibility of renewal.

Additional Information:

90% on research (overseeing extramural funds, design experiments, sampling collection, data analysis, present data)

10% Assists a faculty member in attaining the goals of specified research by participating in research planning and proposal writing; Oversee team’s junior members; guess lecturer in classes related with animal nutrition.

Experience in a scientific research capacity and student supervision is preferred.
