The Arts & Design department is seeking an experienced adjunct faculty member to teach Printmaking courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 1-2 courses per semester. In addition to teaching, the required tasks will include preparing course materials, providing instruction on and off campus, and assessing student work throughout the semester.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach one or more Printmaking courses per semester.
Develop and revise course syllabi, assignments, and assessments in collaboration with the Arts & Design faculty members.
Provide engaging and effective lectures.
Give individual feedback and guidance to students on their artwork.
Evaluate student works in a timely and consistent manner.
Maintain student records and attendance.
Follow contemporary development in the field of Printmaking, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into classroom teaching.
Job Requirements:
Master's of Fine Arts in Printmaking or related field.
Minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience in Printmaking.
Demonstrated expertise in traditional and contemporary Printmaking techniques.
Commitment to teaching excellence and student success.
