This Postdoctoral fellow position will perform computational studies of the thick and thin filaments of cardiac muscle.

Duties & Responsibilities Expected to perform classical simulations of the protein complexes in the thick and thin filaments. of cardiac muscle. Various enhanced sampling techniques including metadynamics will be used. In addition, chemical reactions will be studied using QM/MM techniques and enhanced sampling techniques such as Transition Path Sampling. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. degree in theoretical chemistry or the equivalent upon hire
  • Experience using and writing programs (in both high level and scripting languages). 
  • Experience with analytic derivations is needed.
