| Position Highlights | The Department of Biosystems Engineering invites applicants for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I. This position is for a USDA funded project “Water Use, Growth, and Yield of Cotton and Guayule under Gravity Drip Irrigation” at the University of Arizona Maricopa Agricultural Center. The incumbent of this position will perform project related efforts that involve installing and maintenance of irrigation system and sensors, irrigating the experimental field, plant/soil data collection, remote sensing data collection (via drones), lab analysis, data analysis, and publication. Experience in crop water management, remote sensing and drone image processing, and drone operation is desired. Successful candidates must have good understanding of irrigation engineering technologies, such as sensors, subsurface drip irrigation, fertigation equipment, and irrigation models.
