Position Summary:
 
UCI Graduate Division provides leadership on all graduate education matters. We work with all academic units on campus to ensure that scholars from all over the world can learn, teach, and conduct the highest caliber research while pursuing graduate or postdoctoral training. We promote academic integrity and greater understanding by supplying information, guidance, and support to the campus community and beyond. Our aim is to enhance the educational experience by engaging and leading on all matters related to graduate student life: academic progress and advocacy, fellowships, funding and financial support, diversity, employment, and professional development. The Graduate Division coordinates with other Graduate Divisions across the UC system to ensure high quality educational experiences and promotion of graduate education system and state-wide.
 
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced marketing, and content creator, and digital asset designer to construct marketing materials designed to promote awareness within the UCI campus and surrounding community. This candidate will make sure UCI Graduate Division’s brand is consistent and meets the university‘s brand regulations, while also being aesthetically pleasing. Has a full understanding of industry practices and campus policies and procedures, as well as experience executing successful marketing campaigns. Will focus on effectively marketing to different UCI stakeholders, including but not limited to potential students, current students and postdoctoral scholars, and UCI alums. Will primarily work with the Graduate Division Communications Team and Recruitment/Admissions Team to complete tasks.

$71,300.00 - $128,700.00 (annual)
 
Required:
 
  • 3-5 years of marketing or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Strong background in digital design. Thorough analytical and written communication skills. Strong project management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
  • Strong background in video editing Thorough knowledge of marketing mediums and funding sources.
  • Knowledge of various social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

 
Preferred:
 
  • Thorough knowledge of the campus and / or medical center products and services. Knowledge of HTML and java script Strong interpersonal communication and political acumen skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the campus and / or medical center, including its achievements, mission, vision, goals, objectives, and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance rules and best practices Strong knowledge of Slate or relatable CRM
