Position Summary:

 

This job posting is for job seekers that are interested in temporary Project and Operations Support positions.

 

UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) continuously seeks applicants that are interested and available to work in Project and Operation Support roles on temporary assignments at the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine, UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and other UCI Satellite Clinics. We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.

 

This position supports the Office of Inclusive Excellence projects, events, marketing, and communications. Programs and events supported include UCI ADVANCE, equity advisors, UCI SEA Change, DECADE, UC President’s and Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Program, UC-HBCU initiative, minority-serving institution initiatives, and various award and educational offerings. The Project and Operations Support performs a wide variety of analytical and administrative tasks, including web updates, event logistics, and development of communications. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations

 

Duties for Project and Operations Support Analyst:

 

Analytical Support:

 

  • Applies professional concepts to perform analysis of data and systems pertaining to moderately complex projects, policies, initiatives, processes, and / or functions.
  • Gathers and assembles analytical and factual data on assigned problems and issues to prepare reports and / or analyses summarizing information on the assigned issues and commenting on other significance for internal or external constituents.
  • Using subject matter knowledge, collects and prepares information for use in discussions, meetings of internal and external constituents.
  • On a project basis, performs analytical studies on a variety of policies, research initiatives, programs and issues.
  • Provides a variety of analytical duties in support of a function, research initiative, program and / or organizational unit.
  • Participates in administrative / research policy and program project planning and development.
  • Provides recommendations and guidelines involving programs / initiatives.
  • Coordinates program planning and collaboration with program / project staff.
  • Summarizes trends in course participation, examines peer institutional data and reports and recommends program practices and policies to broaden engagement and meet program outcomes.

 

Event & Program Coordination:

 

  • Coordinates event logistics and arrangements for small to large events and programs, including certificate courses.
  • Schedules speakers, instructional staff, attendees, event staffing, and facilities.
  • Disseminates and collects assessment materials.  Analyzes results and summarizes trends.

 

Marketing & Communications:

 

  • Develops and disseminates marketing and program materials, including online communications.  Utilizes trend data to develop promotional strategies and brand awareness.
  • Develops presentations and reports on event impacts, including participation demographics, expectations met, topics for future events
  • Prepares, edits and modifies documents including project reports, event scenarios, presentations, and proposals.

 

 Other:

 

  • Supports office administration by scheduling meetings, staffing front desk, and handling other office logistics as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Total Compensation:

Compensation Range:

 

Minimum $25.57          Mid-Point $35.30         Maximum $45.02

 

 

 

Temporary Employment:

 

  • This is a temporary employment recruitment reporting to the UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) Department.
  • Interviewing and hiring is based on internal hiring needs and how well the candidate's experience matches the assignment requirements.
