Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, and Information Systems within the Cameron School of Business seeks an outstanding faculty member for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Business Analytics. This is a nine-month tenure-track position at the rank of assistant/associate professor, scheduled to begin Fall Semester 2023. The assistant/associate professor will be responsible for teaching in the business analytics discipline, scholarly research, and practice that advances the understanding of business analytics

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
1. A Ph.D. or ABD in Business Analytics or Operations Management or a related area is required or must be obtained within a first academic year of employment from an AACSB Accredited School.
2. Candidates should be proficient in both online and face-to-face teaching, for both graduate and undergraduate audiences.
3. The ideal candidate will be able to teach all areas of business analytics including descriptive and predictive analytics.
A focused research agenda with an established record of publication or strong potential for publication is expected

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. Ph.D. in Business Analytics or Operations Management
2. Evidence of a distinguished record of teaching both face-to-face and online courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
3. Evidence of scholarly research in business analytics or related area.
4. Experience and ability to engage with the business community on matters related to business analytics, including the ability and willingness to play an active role on the Congdon School’s business analytics advisory board.

The Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems is part of UNCW’s Cameron School of Business and supports the B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Business Analytics, Information Systems, and Supply Chain Management, the B.S. in Information Technology, and the B.S. in Cybersecurity. At the graduate level, the school supports the MBA, M.S. in Computer Science and Information Systems, M.S. in Business Analytics, and M.S. in Supply Chain Management.
