Description

The Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory experiments in cellular and molecular biology; Carries out survival, FACs analysis, ELIZA and molecular biology assays on cell cultures and animal tissues; Maintains mouse colonies including animal husbandry, genotyping, and collecting organs and tissues; performs stretch and flow assays. Places lab orders and is responsible for lab organization including freezer organization. Performs data management and preparation of data for presentation in manuscripts, seminars, and other formats. Supervises and provides assistance in training students (i.e. undergraduate and graduate levels).


Qualifications

Successful candidates should  have a PhD or equivalent degree and have expertise in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
