Description

A postdoctoral fellow position in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is available. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for studying the molecular biology and genetics of mammalian mobile DNA, including the role of aberrant retrotransposon expression and replication on various disease states. The successful candidate should be able to manipulate large data sets and analyze next-gen sequencing. 


Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or M.D., within 6 months of hiring.
  • Research experience in genetics and bioinformatics.
