Job Description


The NanoBioSensors and Systems Lab at the University of Central Florida (Orlando, FL) invites applications for an immediate postdoctoral fellow/research engineer opening in the development of biosystems for implantable and wearable sensors. This position will support full time two vital partnership the Principal Investigator (PI) has established with two local companies: one to develop packaging strategies and prototype off-the-shelf wireless impedance measurement systems and the other to break new ground in material integration with established wearable devices. 
3. Design, microfabricate, and develop processes for microsensor integration in established wearable devices. 
4. Work with company representatives to test the newly developed wearable sensors in a benchtop and possibly patient setting.
5. Interface with companies and support the PI in project updates.
6. Mentor graduate and undergraduate students working on the projects.
