Development of Digital Twins for Additive Manufacturing

The Electromechanical Systems Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for a postdoctoral position.
The ideal candidate is expected to have a background in data science with applications to digital
twins-related design, modeling, simulation, and analysis for manufacturing machines, processes,
and/or systems. Demonstrated ability in integrating data science with physical science is
required, with areas of interest including dynamics, stochastic modeling, uncertainty
quantification, process control, product quality assurance, performance degradation prognosis,
etc.
