| Description of Work | The Department of Mathematics is seeking three postdoctoral research associates in mathematics, mathematics education, or a closely related field. These post docs will have teaching duties, give seminars and colloquia, invite visitors, and collaborate with our faculty. They also may provide mentoring to graduate and undergraduate students by organizing reading groups, working seminars, and working with graduate students one-on-one. The Department of Mathematics particularly welcomes applicants who can contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment through their scholarship, teaching, mentoring, and professional service. The positions are apportioned 60% research, 40% teaching. The selected candidates will teach three courses per academic year along with conducting their own research. This is a three year appointment offering a competitive salary and benefits.
