Qualifications Required
Requires knowledge of accounting principles, practices and terminology in order to process financial transactions.. These skills are normally acquired by completing an associate’s degree and up to 12 months of related experience.

Analytical skills needed to determine what equipment problems exist and what repairs need to be made, prioritize work tasks including, room scheduling and print requests. Utilize problem solving skills needed for daily room scheduling and public relations skills when arranging facility usage requests with community. Requires basic knowledge to perform the practices and terminology of accounting data entry. High level of adherence to deadlines.

Interpersonal skills to assist students, and interact with college personnel, community members and vendors. Requires the ability to maintain the confidentiality of student records and information. Ability to resolve room scheduling conflicts to maintain an atmosphere of cooperation.

Awareness of college facilities and resources to provide good scheduling procedures and support to college staff and community requests.

Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and email. Working knowledge of college accounting software and scheduling software.
General Summary
Provides support for Student Accounts as assigned by the Student Accounts Director, including cash receipting, company billing, phone support and collections. Responsible for room scheduling for Community Workforce Education Classes, campus meetings and events. Manages MFP copier support, maintains inventory supplies, billing, consulting, technical support and training for staff, faculty, and students.

1. Prepares and assists with daily cashier functions including cash receipting, cash drawer reconciliation and company billing in Student Accounts. Learning Center support for cash receipting and company billing. Takes payments at the student accounts counter and also over the phone.

2. Provides office coverage for Student Accounts/Registration area. Provides customer service to students, employees and general public regarding inquiries to student accounts via email, phone and in person. Researches and resolves student account discrepancies.

3. College Wide Duties include: Reconciles daily on line payments, primary phone support for Student Accounts incoming main line, makes on going collection calls as directed by Student Accounts Director.

4. Completes section set ups for campus academic credit classes and Training and Development continuing education classes. Including activation of sections, billing companies or cash receipting classes.

5. Manages incoming room requests for Community Workforce Education classes, campus IP room requests, campus meetings and campus events. Verifies room assignments for academic semester schedules, provides room assignment changes as needed.

6. Provides technical support for MFP copiers to faculty, staff and students. Trouble shoots problems and contacts copier vendor if service is needed. Monitors through Papercut toner needs for all campus MFP copiers. Responsible for ordering all MFP copier supplies. Provides training for faculty, staff and students on equipment operation.

7. Organizes, directs, tracks and maintains records of all print jobs. Responsible for tracking and submitting monthly bills for funds transfers for printing and supplies. Manages inventory necessary to provide paper and envelopes for campus and administrative offices.
