Position Summary

This postdoctoral research position is to work on research concerning collective memory, including studies of Ukrainians and Russians and their opinions about the war in Ukraine and how they are rooted in disparate memories of the past.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Study development (i.e., conducting literature review, designing studies, creating study materials and collecting data).
  • Analyze data (i.e., compiling, cleaning, and analyzing data).
  • Write (i.e., writing manuscripts).
  • Communication (i.e., meet with the PI and the lab regularly to discuss research progress and address any issues that arise).
  • Presentation of research (i.e., poster presentations and discussions at conferences).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in anthropology, history or psychology.
  • Expertise with developing questionnaire research and analyzing narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects, as evidenced by quantity and quality of publications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Skilled at asking incisive research questions, constructing questionnaires, collecting data from diverse groups, analysis of data, and writing research reports.

Salary Range

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
