| Job Summary | The Biology Department of at the University of Texas at Arlington is seeking highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology for the Boll Laboratory. |
| Essential Duties and Responsibilities | The Boll laboratory is focused on understanding how the Gram-negative cell envelope contributes to antibiotic treatment failure in clinically important pathogens, with the goal of designing and developing new antimicrobial therapies and strategies for treatment (For more info, see lab publications). Multiple NIH-funded projects are focused on dissecting the molecular mechanisms that contribute to antibiotic treatment failure based on the cutting-edge technical platforms including imaging, sequencing, lipidomics and proteomics. |
