Postdoctoral Associate Position: Exoplanet Atmospheric Characterization

The Cornell Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science invites applications for a postdoctoral associate position to work with Prof. Nikole Lewis on projects focused on exoplanet atmospheric characterization. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on observation-centric projects spanning the characterization of both transiting and self-luminous giant exoplanet atmospheres. Depending on the expertise and interests of the applicant, there are opportunities for both data reduction/analysis (e.g. JWST observations) and data interpretation (e.g. atmospheric retrievals) type projects.

The position is for one year, with continuation for two more years contingent upon funding and performance. The nominal starting date is autumn 2023 and is negotiable.
