Job Description


The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join the Turley Lab in the highly collaborative Department of Immunology Discovery at Genentech. The successful applicant will have deep knowledge of a scientific discipline relevant to tissue immunity such as immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, single cell technologies, computational biology, imaging, genetics or developmental biology. This postdoctoral fellow will have the appropriate skills and interest in investigating mechanisms of fibrosis, stromal cell development and function, myeloid cells, and inflammation. The expectation is that this work will result in significant advances and publications in top tier journals.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a recent or pending PhD, MD or MD/PhD graduate with a background in a relevant biological science, medicine and/or computational biology. They will have demonstrated the ability to conduct high-quality, impactful research through peer-reviewed publication.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $64,800 and $120,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
