The Secretary of Athletics assists with the administration of the daily operations of the office.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and two years of clerical and general office experience; or Associate Degree or equivalent (60 college credits)
Excellent telephone, public relations, and bookkeeping skills
Computer proficiency

Essential Functions
Answer the phone for the athletic department, including the main phone line
All athletic department correspondence
Keep a current updated file on each athlete, including information pertaining to their eligibility to play sports according to NJCAA rules and regulations
Keep a record of eligibility forms each semester and work with coaches to ensure that all eligibility requirements are met
Process purchase orders and payment authorizations for all athletic budget accounts
Process work-study and part-time personnel status forms and time sheets
Assist coaches with travel arrangements
Other duties as assigned
