Awe Kualawaache Care Center , near Harden Montana, is looking for a PTA to be our DOR. This position can either be Permanent! or a longer-term travel assignment.

Montana is NOW part of the National PTA compact.

Job Description: Director of Rehab

Department: Rehabilitation

Supervisor: Director of Clinical Operations

General Description

? Responsible for the Managing of Rehabilitation Services at facility level.

? Coordinates and Supervises Operations of the Department.

Responsibility: (Personnel and/or materials)

? Shall be licensed in the State of Montana

? Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.

? Assures competency of all personal.

? Assists in formulating budget, evaluates department performance versus budget and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.

? Develops and implements systems of reviewing department charges, ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.

? Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.

? Maintaining relationships with the community and with other health care facilities, organizations, and services.

? Evaluates and assess facility and staff compliance with all regulations. Reports to NHA.

? Any responsibilities prescribed by facility policy

? Public relations.

? Reporting to the Board as required.

? Evaluate and assess to patient’s Bill of Rights. Report to NHA and Board facility compliance.

Personnel Specification
? Experience in supervisory capacity in health facility.

? Must fulfill license requirement of this state.

? Advanced training in nursing home administration through workshops and institutes.

? Sound knowledge of personnel administration

? Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, laws pertaining to nursing home operation.

? Ability to deal with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel.

? Knowledge of local economic conditions and ability to adjust cost of operation to meet community ability to pay for services.
Ability to keep abreast of changes in nursing home field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
