Looking for a person to work our morning shift from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Must be comfortable communicating with others with varying levels of English proficiency in person, on the phone, and through email. Must be comfortable working with people from all parts of the world. Must be patient and respectful while working with others. Assist students, faculty, and staff with locating resources. Must work well with others, able to follow directions, and be a self starter. Must be responsible in maintaining confidentiality.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Provide general information about SLCC and immigration regulations. Check and verify documents and applications. Maintain confidentiality with official records and protect privacy. Interact with others on the phone, in person, and via email. Assist advisors and student diplomats.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Salt Lake Community College student.
2.0 cumulative GPA during time of application.
Enrolled in at least 9 academic credit hours during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Must not have another paid part-time role on campus.
Must not be receiving a student tuition waiver.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
