Duties and Responsibilities
This position will oversee the coordination, operations, and logistical support for program and events at the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility at Loyola University Chicago. The Baumhart Center promotes social business in the service of a just, humane, and sustainable world. Through education, engagement, and research, the Center prepares students and leaders to tackle society’s most pressing challenges.

The position will support an array of programs at Baumhart, including but not limited to:
  • Baumhart Scholars MBA: A highly selective, cohort-based MBA that prepares leaders from the private, government, and social sectors to thrive at the intersection of profit and purpose.
  • DEI Leading For: A first-of-its-kind program that equips executives with the values, knowledge, and tools to design and implement enterprise-wide DEI strategies.
  • Leading for Good: The Center’s annual conference offering best-practice learning sessions, interactive networking opportunities, and skills-based workshops that prepare leaders to accelerate social value creation.

 


Across these and other programs, the Program Coordinator will play a lead role in coordination, as well as serve as a thought partner in the design, development, and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Center’s senior program manager, and external relations and strategic partnership director to support, shape, and coordinate programs and events for the Baumhart Center.
  • Support program outreach, including playing a critical role in communicating with prospective and current students and participants in the Baumhart Center’s programming.
  • Coordinate cohort-based programming, including communicating with program participants and supporting program faculty.
  • Support the evaluation of programming and help propose steps to continuously improve program effectiveness.
  • Provide general support at the Center and other duties as assigned including administrative tasks and supervisory oversight of student interns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least two to three years of related experience preferred. Additional Education or Experience may be required by department program.
