The postdoc will design nanophotonic devices for light emitting, waveguiding, and detection for photonic integrated circuits and quantum computation, work with graduate students, and assist in proposal and report writing.

The postdoc will design nanophotonic devices for light emitting, waveguiding, and detection for photonic integrated circuits and quantum computation, work with graduate students, and assist in proposal and report writing.
The postdoctoral research scholar will be responsible for:
- Designing nanophotonic devices for light emitting, waveguiding, and detection for photonic integrated circuits and quantum computation
- Work with graduate students on designing and simulating devices and optical measurements
- Assist in proposal and report writing
- Numerical simulation to design photonic metamaterials and devices
- Optical characterization system setup to measure photonic metamaterials and devices
- Nanophotonic knowledge for photonic metamaterial and device design
- Technical writing to write manuscripts of conducted research and project reports
