Mission Statement

The University of Michigan Department of Urology exists to cure or reduce suffering from urologic disease and disability through comprehensive urologic education of the next generation of leaders in urology within a milieu of exceptional, innovative, and collaborative urologic care and research.

Responsibilities*

The Department of Urology seeks to fill a two-year Clinical Instructor position in the Division of Urologic Oncology. The first year will be primarily dedicated to translational research, and the second year will focus on clinical training in urologic oncology. Clinical practice and operating privileges will be primarily at University Hospital.

Required Qualifications*

The selected candidate must have an M.D. or D.O. and be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible. Successful applicants will have completed urology residency. The candidate must hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence is expected. Evidence of scholarly activity (publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at national meetings) is also expected.

Background Screening
